Chinese Government Scholarship Application Notices for
High-level Postgraduate Program, Deadline March 20th, 2024.
1. Majors Offered
The Scholarship of CSC for High-level Postgraduate Program is oriented to
the students from all countries.
a. The majors taught in Chinese covers all majors in Hunan University.
b. The majors taught both in English and Chinese offered are as follows
Business Administration (Master or Ph.D)
Computer Science and Technology (Master or Ph.D)
Chemistry (Ph.D)
Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering (Ph.D)
2. Scholarship Coverage
a. Tuition fee.
b. Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy.
c. Stipend:
Master’s students/general scholars: CNY 3,000 per month;
Doctoral students/senior scholars: CNY 3,500 per month;
d. Comprehensive Medical Insurance:
CNY 800 per person per year.
3. Eligibility
a. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health both mentally and
physically.
b. Applicants should be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree or
its equivalent under the age of 35 when applying for a Master’s program.
c. Applicants should be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree or
its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program.
d. Applicants should have passed the HSK (Level 4) when applying for a Chinese-
taught postgraduate program.
3. Application Fees
Applicant must pay 350$ as application fees
4.REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1. Valid Passport Home Page
2. Photo Passport
3. CV
4. Two recommendation letters
5. Notified transcripts
6. Notified degree
7. English certificate if available
8. Motivation letter or Study plan
9. Non-criminal record certificate
10. Physical examination report
11. Research Proposal (For Masters/Sometimes & PhD Candidate)
12. Other supporting documents if available
Eligibility
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese national and be in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
（1) Applicants for Bachelor’s Degree program must have high school degree
and be under the age of 25.
（2) Applicants studying to earn a Master’s degree must have a Bachelor’s
degree and be under the age of 35.
（3）Applicants studying to earn a Doctorate degree must have a Master’s
degree and be under the age of 40.
5. After approval of Scholarship, Applicant must pay service fees of 1200$ for Bachelor,
1500$ for Masters and 1700$ for PhD
